The challenge
Patients need department information, doctor availability, and appointment times without waiting on a receptionist, and finding the right specialty across a city has no central directory.
What we built
An AI agent on WhatsApp Business API that lists departments and on-duty doctors, books appointments, handles report pickup, clarifies insurance, and — in directory mode — searches facilities by specialty, area, and open-now. It accepts voice notes and prescription images, and refuses medical advice by hard guardrail, routing symptom questions to a qualified doctor.
How it operates
Reception phone load drops for non-clinical questions, patients find the right specialist faster, and the provider captures appointment-demand data for capacity planning — all without the agent ever giving a diagnosis or dosage.
